When you’re stepping into the world of fractional consulting, you are your own brand. Unlike traditional full-time roles where your resume speaks for you, fractional consulting requires you to sell yourself as a business. That’s where the one-pager comes in.

A consulting one-pager is essentially your business card on steroids. It’s a single-page document that clearly communicates:

  • Who you are

  • What you do

  • The value you bring

  • Who you help

It’s short, powerful, and easy for potential clients (or recruiters, agencies, and partners) to digest in less than two minutes.

Why You Need a One-Pager

  1. Clarity of Value – Most businesses don’t have time to read a full resume. A one-pager cuts straight to your results and offerings.

  2. Positioning Yourself as a Business – A one-pager shifts perception: you’re not a job seeker, you’re a service provider.

  3. Easy Shareability – Your one-pager can be shared internally at client companies to decision-makers who never met you.

  4. Helps You Stand Out – Very few consultants have one. That alone sets you apart.

What to Include in Your Fractional Consultant One-Pager

Here’s a proven structure:

1. Your Name + Branding

Include your name, title (Fractional Consultant, Fractional [Role]), and professional branding elements like a logo or personal tagline.

2. About You (1-2 Sentences)

A quick introduction that highlights your experience and expertise. Example:
“Fractional Product Manager with 10+ years helping startups scale product operations, optimize team workflows, and accelerate launches.”

3. Core Services / Expertise
